Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. General Information

We want our participants to be satisfied with our retreats and events. At the same time, our services require long-term planning and a high degree of organizational commitment.

Therefore, the following refund policy applies and forms an integral part of our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

2. Refund Overview

Day Retreats

After the expiration of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are generally excluded.

Participants may nominate a replacement participant. Acceptance of a replacement participant is subject to prior approval by SITOS and is not guaranteed.

Multi-Day Retreats (Domestic)

After the expiration of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are generally excluded.

Participants may nominate a replacement participant. Acceptance of a replacement participant is subject to prior approval by SITOS and is not guaranteed.

International Retreats

After the expiration of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are generally excluded.

Participants may nominate a replacement participant. Acceptance of a replacement participant is subject to prior approval by SITOS and is not guaranteed.

Private Cooking

After the expiration of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are generally excluded.

In the event of a cancellation within seven days prior to the scheduled date, no refund will be granted. If groceries or other necessary materials have already been purchased for the event, the participant shall bear these costs in full. This applies in particular to short-notice bookings and last-minute offers.

Online Events

If a cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the start of the event, a voucher equal to the participation fee will be issued.

After that period, no refund or voucher will be granted.

3. Special Provisions

Replacement Participants

Participants may nominate a replacement participant. Acceptance of a replacement participant is subject to prior approval by SITOS. There is no entitlement to acceptance.

Cancellation by the Organizer

Should a retreat or event be cancelled due to organizational reasons, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, all payments already made will be refunded in full. Alternatively, participants may be offered the option to reschedule to another date.

Allergies and Health Restrictions

Participants are required to inform us in advance of any allergies or health restrictions. Failure to do so releases us from any liability arising from such omissions.

Recommendation of Travel Cancellation Insurance

For multi-day and international retreats in particular, we recommend taking out suitable travel cancellation insurance. Refunds due to personal circumstances, illness, or other reasons are only granted in accordance with the provisions set out above.

4. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Consumers are entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (e.g. bookings made via our website, by email, or by telephone).

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.

The contract is concluded following individual planning and confirmation of the offer by SITOS.

Once the invoice has been issued, the full amount must be paid without the option of installment payments. Payment must be received within three days of the invoice date. Website bookings are due immediately.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, participants must notify:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email or letter) informing us of their decision to withdraw from the contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires.

In the event of a valid withdrawal, payments already made will be refunded promptly and no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal notice.

After the statutory withdrawal period has expired, refunds are granted exclusively in accordance with the provisions above.

5. Disclaimer

Participation is entirely at the participant’s own responsibility and risk.

Refunds are granted solely in accordance with the conditions stated above.

SITOS assumes no liability for consequential costs, including travel expenses, accommodation outside the booked offer, or cancellation fees charged by third parties.
